Nowadays, as the development of technology, fashion trends forecasting has formed a professional forecasting institutions, professional forecasting processes, and more systematic forecasting methods and forecasting mechanisms, and these traditional mechanisms follow the methods and means mainly rely on limited data and people’s subjective feelings and judgments for a long-term. With the increasing development of information technology, the era of big data gives an opportunity that a variety of information can be combined together and be analyzed in a huge ’container’, a more rapid statistical data on a large scale has been enabled, it enables rapid classification and query and call of the data being analyzed. It also improved the fashion trend prediction mechanism.The purpose of market forecasting is to reduce the blindness of decision making. We need to grasp the relevant trends of future market changes, reduce the uncertainty of the future, reduce the risks that may be encountered, and make the goals have been made to be realized smoothly. The prediction mechanism studied in this paper is based on the information acquisition and data analysis, the final goal of it is to obtain more accurate judgment of the trend overall, the relationship between the various parts of the forecast process, and finally form a perfect working system. Based on this concept, this paper studies and summarizes the research results of clothing trends prediction, summarizes the traditional mechanism of forecasting methods and means, puts forward the trend prediction of clothing trends and cloud computing with big data together. With the depth analysis of the trend of clothing fashion trends, come up with the idea of the prediction mechanism of clothing trends based on cloud computing.This paper explained the necessary stages of cloud computing for cloth fashion trends prediction, including data collection, analysis, editing, transmission and feedback in detail, summarizes the application strategy and application prediction of cloud computing for each stage, finalize that the cloud computing prediction mechanism is much more advantageous than the traditional mechanism and summarizes the problems that may be encountered in cloud computing based clothing fashion trend prediction. At the same time, the most important part of the prediction mechanism, the data quantization, is described and analyzed in detail.Aiming at the problem of data quantization, further study has been provided in this paper. Including its quantitative rules, the degree of subdivision, the model selection and data input and processing. After that, an example is performed to give a detailed interpretation of the prediction mechanism of the clothing trends based on cloud computing, in the actual practice of the operation of the example system, summed up the specific methods, principles, quantitative standards and other theoretical significances to provide a theoretical basis for reference. In this paper, a simple prediction model was carried out for recent three years clothing fashion trend prediction, the prediction of the principle and process are described in detail, the results of the forecast is in Appendix 2 as a reference. At last, the paper summarizes and discusses the future development of cloth fashion trend prediction based on cloud computing.This paper starts from the definition of clothing fashion trend prediction mechanism, combined with cloud computing technology, studies various angles and aspects of cloud computing and clothing fashion trend prediction, and ultimately return to the mechanism itself. In this paper, we believes that the cloud computing based clothing fashion trend prediction mechanism is a newer, faster and more diverse mechanism. The author believes that this new era of the new mechanism will bring a more brilliant future for the clothing industry.
