The Design And Realization Of Style Quantization And Pattern Database Of Garment Pattern System

Fashion CAD technology is an important application of computer aided design technology in the fashion industry. With the development of information technology, the fashion industry has turned into a modern and integrated inter-industry with combined with fashion technics and computer technology from a traditional handicraft industry. Because of the fierce competition of international market, the fashion design has become an important field in competition of costume brand. But in the middle or small domestic fashion enterprises the fashion style of brand is weak and discontinuous because of designer's poor experience, which has prevent the progress of the way of costume brand". It is necessary to explore an intelligent fashion pattern design system which integrates the designers' idea and the design technique for the curbstone designer to master the fashion style.With the object background of the intelligent style-based garmentpattern structure design system — the sub-project of the national key project "Fashion Design and Digital Information Research", the paper applied fuzzy theory to studying the realization of fashion style quantization, and designed and realized layered database structure by analyzing system's requirement.The pattern structure is a mainly embodiment of fashion style, so the realization of fashion style quantization must be based on the fashion's digital definition. On the analysis of pattern structure, the paper divided pattern into parts and constructed it with B-3 spline and reversed B3 spline theory. According to the attributes of fashion design, the key points and key lines which make up of the garment parts are defined to support the fitting-up of fashion parts to realization the fashion's digital definition finally.To realize the fashion style quantization must abide by the rules because the fashion style is an art category and very fuzzy, which is the difficulty to realize style quantization. By analyzing the style the pattern parts are the important style factors. The paper realized area description of parts style by plotting out area of parts. According to the fuzzy theory, the paper prescribed certainty of the rule and established fuzzy style quantization rules of parts and pattern.By style rules reasoning and transfiguration and fitting-up of pattern parts, the paper finally realized the fashion style quantization. In the partof pattern parts transfiguration, by analyzing a great deal of fashion parts in distinct types to classify and sum up the different situations, different algorithms are worked out and applied to solve different problems of parts transfiguration. Then different sorts of parts can be combined to form a new fashion style by fitting-up ways.According to the attributes of data structure of system, the paper established the layered database with pattern, parts, appurtenance, key lines, key points and so on. The pattern database is divided into four parts: pattern, parts, appurtenance and rule. At last, the paper particularly explained the realization technology of pattern database.Under the concrete engineering background, the paper put forward the way of area description of parts style, and prescribed certainty of the rule to establish the fuzzy style rules, and realize the fashion style quantization by transfiguration and fitting-up of pattern parts. In some way, it has the innovation and application value and can provide instruction to the development of intelligent design of pattern style.
