The Research On The Project Cost Management Of Book Publishing Enterprise

Book Publishing is a complicated systematic engineering. Project cost management of Book Publishing, as one of the most important content of publishing enterprise management, determines the company’s future in large degree. This paper aims to seek the related theories that suitable for project cost management of publishing enterprise, to explore the way to assess the project cost management of publishing enterprise, to analyse the statue of project cost management of publishing enterprise and put forward to optimized strategies for project cost management of publishing. It exists some insufficiency in these areas, which are the keys and meanings of this paper.Firstly, the project management theory and project cost management theory are elaborated, then the AHP( the Analytic Hierarchy Process),which is the main analytic method in this research, are discussed, followed by the constructing of 3-level index framework of project cost of book publishing. In the 3-level index framework, the 1st level consists of PM of book publishing, which is the study object of this paper; the 2nd level consists of 3 items-direct cost, indirect cost and period cost; the 3rd level consists of 13 items, including editing cost, material cost and equipment rental cost. The 2nd level indicators and the 3rd level indicators are analyzed by the AHP way according to the built indicator system, calculating the weight of each level.The empirical analysis towards the project cost of book publishing for 10 listed book publishing enterprises is conducted based on the indicator system which is resulted from AHP. The data process shows that some big shortcomings do exist in the direct and indirect cost management, and it could be promoted to higher level in the period cost management. Based on these findings, the reasons are analyzed from the concepts, system and the talents, followed by the improvement strategies which are relevant with the problems and causations.
