In recent years,with the "Internet plus" concept upsurge,the software industry has been thriving in China.Even in 2016,amid a slowdown in the countryundefineds real economy,the software industry has maintained high growth rates.The cost of medium and small software enterprises mainly consists of four parts: hardware acquisition cost and software implementation cost.The research object of this paper is the cost control of Sim software project of Z Company,which provides training software system for coal-fired power plants.Because of the reform of power industry and the recession of domestic real economy in recent years,the situation of power overcapacity is caused.The profit and loss of the project is closely related to the cost control,so Z company is faced with the challenge of how to optimize and control the project cost.Effective cost Control has become the most important part of Sim Project Management in Z Company.Taking Z Company as an example of Sim software project developed by a power plant in Guangxi,this paper first analyzes the research background,the history and present situation of project management,and the characteristics and contents of cost control of software project.According to the current situation of Sim software project cost control in Z company,three main problems in Sim software project management of Z company are obtained: cost overspending,project time lag,and low customer satisfaction.By analyzing,finding out the causes of the problems,and combining the actual implementation of the project,we find that the Sim software project team implements the training of engineers and the change of the userundefineds scope of work.The implementation of effective performance appraisal system is the main reason for the weak cost control of Sim software.In view of the above reasons,the detailed project schedule and cost budget are first formulated,then the project cost control is optimized by using the relevant time management model,and the project cost and schedule are analyzed by the method of work decomposition and earned value.Focus on cost control at milestone control points,After a series of improvement measures,we track the cost control and progress control of Sim software project,follow up the result,the cost control result of Sim project has balance,and if the cost overruns,it will continue to improve.Until the project cost control can achieve the desired goal.The results show that based on the earned value method of milestone,the project cost implementation can be monitored in real time by using each key node of the project as the monitoring baseline,and effective improvement measures can be taken to correct the deviation of cost control timely after problem analysis.It improves the order,science and reliability of project cost management,and is a good management tool suitable for Sim project cost control.
