Design And Implementation Of Conference Information System Management Platform

The company the author interned has developed a SaaS (Software as a Service) system Conference Assistant used for conference management. The system is aimed at government and enterprises customers, used to solve the problem that traditional conferences are miscellaneous to prepare and organize. It provides a one-stop business services include a management platform and the clients. The paper is proposed to design and implement the management platform.It’s developed in MyEclipse platform, using a combination of Struts2and MySQL. The author independently completed the following work, system requirements analysis and modular architecture design, class design and implementation of four modules.In the creating meeting module, the user can configure the meeting information. Select the standard function for a meeting. View the meeting list.In the client account module, the user can configure the account information. Export to an Excel file. The user can search it by name and phone number.In the document module, the user can upload the document files. Convert the doc and ppt format into pdf format in Linux and Windows server. And convert the pdf format files into images.In the check-in module, the user can configure two kinds of check-in information. Generate two-dimension code with logo for the client to scan. Search in the map to generate the latitude and longitude for the client to locate.In the check-in statistics module, the user can view the check-in information. Export them to an Excel file.After discussing the work of the above modules, the paper summarizes and gives an outlook of the software.In the verification part, the result showed that testing cases have passed rate and the number of legacy defects have met the requirements of Acceptance Test. Now the Conference Assistant System has launched the official web site and in commercial use. We received positive feedback from users. In the future, the system will bring more development opportunity and economic benefits for the China Mobile Institute.
