Education play a decisively role for the formation of students’ genderneutral, education truly contribute to the harmonious development of societyand steer don’t equal. Middle school is the key period for students to theformation of gender concept and gender consciousness. History is acomprehensive range of humanities curriculum, it has make students to knowthe world, an important way to understand the society in the history ofknowledge at the same time. This paper will take a high school historytextbook after the new curriculum reform the people’s Education PublishingHouse published in2007as the research object, make further analysis andstudy on the role of women in middle school history textbook and images, theaim is to produce certain positive impact on the present educational reform,the use of materials and the growth of the students.This paper is divided into introduction, body and conclusion of threeparts.The introduction mainly expounds the background significance of thetopic, research situation of relevant content in recent years, the methods usedin this research ideas and research.The body consists of three parts. The first part of the2007editionmandatory high school history textbook cover, directory, named characters,text, words, pictures, appendix, gender related vocabulary and other aspects ofthe statistics and a simple analysis. The second part the author mainly fromthe textbook of female occupation or identity、character image、entity andvirtual image、 era and nationality、how the state is presented and otheraspects of the analysis. The third part mainly problems of reflection is thequantity of female images appear less, low frequency and feminine imagepresent monotonous, humble. In terms of new and old textbooks, the school and the teachers, the state and society this paper put forward specificrecommendations.The conclusion is the text of the overall description and summary.
