Objective: The research was designed to establish a competence standard of residents training by means of Delphi method, which could provide the standardized residents training in hospital in Zhuhai with reference. Meanwhile, The managers of human resource could formulate the cultivating programs and incentive measures to improve physicians’ competence, increase the hospital core competitiveness and accelerate the medical blossom.Method: The research referenced Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education’s competency framework of residency. The topic’s competency framework of residency was made through analysing those data that was gathered via literature research, interview and observation. In accordance with the ladder order, each type of indexes was classed to three-level. We invited 40 experts and carried out two rounds experts consulation after pre-research. The statistical was done by Excel 2007 and SPSS 17.0.Results: The topic carried out two turns experts consulation. The first turn of the consulation table reurns-ration was 95% and the second turn was 100%. The expert authority coefficient of two turns was 0.98 and 0.96. Through the chi-square test, P was less than 0.05 and showed that experts’ opinions had significant coordination.The Cronbach’s Alpha coefficient of two rounds was 0.99 and showed that experts’ opinions were obviously consistent and credible. Meanwhile, The mean, full mark ratio and coefficient of variation met the selection criteria. Those survey results indicated the investigation had got a desired result.Conclusion: The competency standard of residents training in Zhuhai via Delphi method is established. This outcome contains six dimensions, 53 factors. The first class indexes have professionalism and body-mind quality, clinical practice skill, the competency of lifelong learning and self-improvement, humanistic medicine practice skill, medical knowledge, the competency of promoting the medical system to develop. The second indexes’ quantities are 18, the number of the third is 29. The standard suggests that hospital can’t just pay attention to medical technology and qualified residents should acquire six core competencies to be competent for jobs.
