Outstanding medical talents in our country should not only have superbprofessional skills, more should have noble medical ethics quality and goodpersonality. With the transformation of modern medical model and thecontinuous development of medical enterprise itself, the doctor-patientrelationship is increasingly nervous, the public have higher expectations formorality and psychological quality of the medical staff, so medical students’professional ethics education is facing severe challenges, meanwhile it is ofvery important strategic significance to foster medical students with highprofessional ethics accomplishment for the supply of medical and healthresources in our country. And the thought of Confucius ethics is theoutstanding representative of traditional Chinese culture, both at home andabroad are widely acclaimed. In order to offer reference for the currentmedical education reform and development in our country, we combined theessence of Confucian moral thought with medical students’ professionalethics. we also believe that there has the extremely positive significance forthe construction of medical ethics education theory and training for students’ subjectivity self-culture ability. Through literature study and questionnairesurvey we have discusses the current status of medical students’ professionalethics education and how to apply Confucius thought for medical students’professional ethics education, and based on this, we have advanced the mainmeasures to improve the level of current medical students’ professionalethics education.
