Objective:To explore the correlation between atherogenic index of plasma(AIP), pulse wave parameters including brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(ba PWV), upstroke time(UT), percent mean arterial pressure(%MAP) and the degree of coronary artery stenosis, and evaluate their predictive value to coronary heart disease(CHD). Methods:A total of 210 patients suspected CHD in the first hospital of Shanxi medical university from March 2015 to February 2016 were included in the study, and then collect their general information, AIP, ba PWV, UT, %MAP and coronary angiography results sequentially. They were divided into control group(54 cases) and CHD group(156 cases)according to coronary angiography results and clinical situation, or A group(0-1scores, 45 cases), B group(2-20 scores, 61cases), C group(21-40 scores, 54 cases) and D group(>40 scores, 50 cases) according to the gensini score standard. Results:1. Compared with control group, AIP, ba PWV, UT and %MAP in CHD group are higher significantly(P<0.05). 2. Compared with A group, AIP, UT and %MAP in B group are higher significantly(P<0.05), AIP, ba PWV, UT and %MAP in C and D group are higher significantly(P<0.05); Compared with B group, AIP, ba PWV in C group are higher significantly(P<0.05), AIP, ba PWV, UT and %MAP in D group are higher significantly(P<0.05); Compared with C group, AIP, ba PWV in D group are higher significantly(P<0.05). 3. AIP, ba PWV, UT, %MAP and coronary artery lesions degree are correlated(r is 0.580, 0.624, 0.295 and 0.325 respectively, P<0.05). 4. The optimum predictive value of AIP, ba PWV, UT and %MAP to CHD are respectively 0.15(Se 77%, Sp 72%), 1593.50cm/s(Se 74%, Sp 81%), 146.50ms(Se 60%, Sp 77%), and 49.5%(Se 72%, Sp 67%). Conclusion:AIP, ba PWV, UT, %MAP and the degree of coronary artery stenosis are correlated, and show rising trend with the increase of degree of coronary artery lesions; AIP and ba PWV change significantly, but UT and %MAP change unsignificantly when the degree of coronary artery lesions is serious; they have differently predictive value to CHD, in which ba PWV is the best.
