Correlation Between Brachial Ankle Pulse Wave Velocity And Ankle - Brachial Index On Coronary Heart Disease And TCM Syndromes

Purpose: Providing the theoretic basis for early discovery and clinical treatment ofcoronary disease by research of brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity and ankle-brachial index.Material and method： Researcher gives examinations of baPWV、ABI、medicalhistory and conventional chemical blood test to the625example of coronary disease patientsand278example of healthy people. Researcher gives the diagnosis of TCM to the625patients.Results:1. The difference between healthy example group and coronary disease example group onbaPWV and ABI is obvious(P＜0.05).2. The order of TCM syndrome blood stasis groups from most to least is as follows: thephlegm, the deficiency of qi, the deficiency of qi and yin, the qi stagnation, thedeficiency of yang.3. Under the comparison between the pure coronary disease group and the coronary diseasegroup with danger factors, obvious statistics difference can be found on baPWV. Theorder of baPWV from most to least is blood stasis groups as follows: the deficiency ofyang＞the deficiency of qi and yin＞phlegm group＞the deficiency of qi=the qistagnation＞the healthy group.Conclusion:The increase of baPWV and the decrease of ABI have obvious relevance with coronarydisease and the TCM diagnosis. The test of baPWV and ABI has prospective value to thediagnosis of coronary disease.
