Objective: To study the risk for ankle-brachial pulse wave velocity (baPWV) and the associativity with baPWV and some clinical disease like coronary atherosclerotic heart disease et. Methods: To test the baPWV from the patient who were in the Hypertension apartment of Xin Jiang Medical University by arterial stiffness early detection equipment VP-100 made in Colin company of Japan. Collected the age, gender and some other clinical data. Divided subjects into baPWV<14m/s group and baPWV≥14m/s group, and to consider baPWV≥14m/s as the arterial stiffness increased. Results: Compared baPWV<14m/s group with baPWV≥14m/s group, age, SBP, heart rate and some other general data exsited statistic significance (P<0.05), gender, HDL and some other clinical data didn't exsited statistic significance (P>0.05). Binary lofistic regression showed that age (P<0.05, OR: 0.898, 95%CI: 0.814~0.991), SBP (P<0.05, OR: 0.898, 95%CI: 0.814~0.991), TC (P<0.05, OR: 1.011, 95%CI: 0.937~1.132), LDL (P<0.05, OR: 0.936, 95%CI: 0.811~0.978). Conclusions: Age, SBP, TC, LDL are the risk factors for baPWV.Increased arterial stiffness correlate with coronary heart disease, cerbral infarction and other risk factors for cardiovascular disease. |
