Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of scalp-nape acupuncture for treating pathological laughing and crying after post-stroke.Methods:60 patients with pathological laughing and crying were randomly divided into a treatment group of 30 patients and a control group of 30 patients. The treatment group was treated with routine drug therapy and rehabilitation training combined with scalp-nape acupuncture, the control group was treated with routine drugs and rehabilitation training based on routine acupuncture treatment,as a treatment for six days, after 1 day’s break, another round of treatment will begin. After 4 rounds of treatment, respectively,were performed on patients with pathological laughing and crying scale scores and MESSS before and after treatment between two groups, and carry on statistics processing.Results:1.The comparison of the pre-treatment and post-treatment of the needling group has statistically significant (P<0.01). The comparison of the pre-treatment and post-treatment of the control group has statistically significant (P<0.01).2. The comparison of the post-treatment between the needling group and the control group has statistically significant (P><0.01).Neurological function in treatment group was obviously improved (P< 0.01).Conclusion:The method of scalp-nape acupuncture has a definite therapeutic effect on treating pathological laughing and crying and neurological function after stroke. |
