Background:With the development of science and technology, the extension of human life expectancy, the number of end-stage renal disease(ESRD) is increasing, its prevalence far beyond people’s imagination. Continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis(CAPD) is one of the alternative treatment of end-stage renal disease. Compared with hemodialysis(HD), peritoneal dialysis can better protect the residual renal function, stable hemodynamics, improve patients’ social homing rate, reduce the social and family economic burden. At the same time, with the continuous improvement of peritoneal dialysis technology and mature of the related studies, a growing number of uremia patients with CAPD treatment choice, the survival rate and quality of life and a series of problems are more and more attention. In the modern biology- psychology- social medicine mode, the kidney disease treatment is not only the purpose of maintaining a patient’s life, more important is to improve the patient’s quality of life. Always, for the study of the factors affecting the quality of life in patients receiving hemodialys is more, but reports of CAPD patients quality of life factors affecting content is not comprehensive. In order to successfully implement the intervention plan, we should know CAPD patients from physical, psychological and social factors influencing the quality of life. So it is necessary to explore CAPD patients quality of life of the status and its influencing factors. Objective:Assessment CAPD patients’ quality of life present situation and to explore the influence factors of CAPD patients quality of life. Methods:A cross-sectional study. Chose 230 cases of CAPD patients whom regularly follow-up, steadily more than three months in our department of peritoneal dialysis center. Another choice rule in our blood purification center of 81 cases of hemodialysis patients. The KDQOL-SFTM questionnaire assessment of HD and CAPD patients’ quality of life, SF-36 questionnaire assessment CAPD and healthy peoples’ quality of life. Collect CAPD patients’ general information, clinical indicators, assess the nutritional status of CAPD patients and dialysis adequacy, social support, depression, and if there is a correlation analysis of various factors and the quality of life. Use SPSS19.0 package data statistical description and analysis of the above. Results:1. CAPD patients SF-36 total score and each dimension scores were significantly less than healthy people, the difference was statistically significant(p < 0.05).2. CAPD group compared with HD patients quality of life, SF-36 total score and there was no statistically significant difference in each dimension score(p > 0.05), KDTA difference in each dimension score and total score no statistical significance(p > 0.05).3. Different BMI, cultural level, the state of the economy in CAPD patients SF-36 no difference between the total score, KDTA total score, the result has no statistical significance(p > 0.05).4. Correlation: CAPD patients SF-36 total score, KDTA total score was positively related factors is social support, Hb, propagated, residual kidney function, Kt/V, the result was statistically significant(p < 0.05); negatively correlated factors are age, age of dialysis, the number of complications, depression, SGA score, the result was statistically significant(p < 0.05).5. Multi-factors analysis indicates SGA score, number of complications are the main factors that influence the CAPD patients quality of life. Conclusion:1. CAPD patients’ quality of life of much lower than the healthy people.2. CAPD patients’ quality of life has no obvious difference compared with HD patients.3. Factors influencing the CAPD patients quality of life have age, age of dialysis, the number of complications, Hb, propagated and residual renal function, Kt/V, depression, SGA score, social support.4. SGA score, complications are the main factors influencing the CAPD patients’ quality of life.
