Objective:This study aims to investigate current situation of core competency of community nurses in Shi Jia Zhuang and to learned the influenceing factors of core competency, aiming to provide reference frame on formulate training strategy of community nurses, and to improve core Competency of community nurses.Methods : This was a descriptive study. we selected registered community nurses as research object from 62 community health service in Shi Jia Zhuang(including 36 community health service centers, 26 community health service stations) by convenience sampling methods. Issuing questionnaires by Qu Li Xia. The questionnaire was consisted of General Condtion Questionnaire and community nurse core competency evaluation questionnaire. we Sending a total 300 copies of questionnaire, recycling questionnaire 300,excluding invalid 16 questionnaire, there were 284 valid questionnaires, the effective rate was 90.16%.Sort and input the recycling data, and use statistical software spss17.0 to analyzed the data. Survey of general material using constituent ratio(%), mean±standard( ±s) for statistical description. Using Kolmogorov-Smirnov to test and analysis the data distribution normality, Accord with normal distribution and variance of the measurement data used t-test between two-groups and more than two groups used the analysis of variance(ANOVA), comparison between the two groups of two used SNK, count data using x2 test, influencing factors of community nurse’s core competency score using Logistic multiple regression analysis.Result:1 he average test score of community nurse is(109.85±35.33),according to the grading standard, it is at a level below average level. Turn divided thepercentage for each dimension score, the sequences from high to low is: leadership and management, legal/ethical practice, interpersonal communication, professional development, critical thinking, evaluation/intervention. 39 people at a high level, the proportion of 13.7%.141 people at a middle level, the proportion of 49.6%. 104 people at low level, the proportion of 36.6%.2 Influencing factors of community nurse core competencyThere was statistically significant difference among the total score and each dimension score in terms of different age, professional titles, educational background, way of employment, years of community working, working experience in clinical or not; different working income were of statistically significant difference in critical thinking, interpersonal communication, evaluation/intervention and professional development dimensions; conducting home visit or not was of statistically significant difference in evaluation/intervention dimension; experience of essay writing and publishing or not were of statistically significant difference in critical thinking, evaluation/intervention, professional development dimensions; community training experience or not was of statistically significant difference in core competency score and evaluation/intervention, professional development dimensions; age≥41 years have the highest score, 31 to 40 yeas in the middle, ≤31 years have the lowest score; Nurse-in-charge and above has highest score, nurse practitioner the second, the nurse has the lowest score; Bachelor degree or above have the highest score, college degree the second, secondary education the lowest; officially enrolled nurses have the highest score, contract nurses in the middle, temporary nurses the lowest; community nurse of working yeas≥6 years is higer than ≤5 yeas; community nurses whose working income>2001 have the highest score, working income in 1501 to 2000 in the middle, working income<1500 have the lowest score; the core competency score of community nurses who have home visit experience is higher than who have not; community nurses who have experience of essay writing and publishing is higher than who have not; community nurses whohave training experience is higher than who have not.Conclusions:1 The core competency of community nurse in Shijiazhuang is at the below average level and needs improve.2 The influencing factors of core competency of community nurses are: age, professional title, education background,way of employment, years of community working and community nurses training experience. age, professional title and community working time are the most important influencing factors.
