A Research To Construct An Index System Of Advanced Practice Nurse Basic Competences

ObjectiveUsing a variety of methods to build a framework of advanced practicenurse competences， which can match the nursing practice status in ourcountry，Thus to provide basis for Advanced practice nurse management andassessment; To Provide references to design Advanced practice nurseeducation courses．MethodsAfter researching literatures，theoretical analysis，expert interview andDelphi method Were conducted to build the framework of Advanced practicenurse competences; an AHP (analytical hierarchy process) method was used tocalculate the weights of indexes; the coefficient of experts，authority coefficientof statistical indicators were calculated to measure the reliability of Delphimethod．ResultsBuilt an advanced practice nurse basic competences framework；The Advancedpractice nurse competence index system include5dimensions,11secondaryindexes and46level3entries．The five dimensions include leadership skill，professional development ability，consultation providing ability,cooperate abilityand ethics conduct ability．In the two round-Delphi method,each expert positivecoefficient were0.90,1.0; Authority coefficient was0.857．calculated the weightsof indicators，and professional development ability weights0.35，consultation providing ability0.19，cooperation ability to0.14ethics conduct ability weights0.10．The CIs were between0.00～0.05．ConclusionThe system of Advance practice nurse basic competences is reliable,canbe used to to provide a reliable basis for advanced practice nurse managementand assessment,also can help to design APN education courses．...
