Rural building is given priority to with monomer building in the cold and arid region of northwest China accompany with the condition of large energy consumption, low energy efficiency, and poor indoor comfort in common buildings. The cold and arid northwest rural monomer building study is less and not related to cold and arid northwest rural monomer building assessment method. Therefore, this article take ecological farmers in Minqin County of Gansu Province, Zhang Ma village as the research object, based on the analysis of building energy consumption, a monomer building evaluation method has been established and validated by experiments, which suitable for cold and arid northwest region. The main research contents and results are as follows:(1) The establishment of the evaluation method of cold and arid reg ion monomer building and test analysis: monomer building assessment method basing on field case study is established with reference to foreign and domestic green building assessment in view of energy consumption in rural regions in cold and arid region in Northwest. Through the analysis and research of ecological residence in Zhang Ma village in Gansu Province, the feasibility and rationality of evaluation methodology of the monomer building has been conducted by means of field experiment related to energy efficiency and energy utilization, energy conservation and indoor environment, energy conservation and use of water resources, energy conservation and building material selection.(2) Analysis on energy efficiency and energy utilization of rural monomer building in cold and arid region: Through the experimental comparison teat of the energy utilization of ecological household and traditional household in winter heating season, the results show that the ecological building utilizes solar energy and biomass energy and other renewable sources reasonably. The ecological building energy consumption is less than that in traditional building,which can save rate of coal is 86.6% and reduce carbon dioxide emissions 14.1 tons. The renewable energy utilization rate is 36.7% and energy-saving rate reaches to 85.2%. It is feasible that solar and biomass energy provide heating for building in northwest regions. The building only by depending on renewable energy come true the goal of heating. The test results indicated that the establishment of this topic in the cold and arid rural monomer building evaluation method is correct.(3) Analysis on energy conservation and indoor environment of rural monomer building in cold and arid region: Based on ecological farm households in the win ter heating season indoor and outdoor related parameters test, r esults show that the highest indoor temperature and average indoor temperature are 20.3 ℃ and 14.5℃ when the average minimum outdoor temperatures is-11.8℃ during the winter heating season. The results meet the prescribed calculation temperature in rural residence energy-saving design standard(GB/T50824-2013). All ecological farmers parameters meet the national standard of indoor air quality specified value, at the same time, ecological farmers average indoor humidity of 57.3%, meet the regulations of the state, the indoor humidity is between 30% ~ 60%, meet the resi dents a good indoor living conditions. The use of renewable energy such as solar energy supply system with good performance to meet building heating demands is feasible in cold and arid region in the winter.(4) Analysis on environment and economic performance of rural monomer building in cold and arid region: Through the experiment and test analysis of the relevant parameters of ecological farm households, which come from Min Qin County, Gansu Province, Zhang Ma village, at the same time, analysis environment and economic performance of ecological farmers on the basis of the established villages monomer building cold and arid region evaluation method, The results show that the environmental performance efficiency of ecological farmers is 2.65 and green label classification for the building is class A. The rural green building cost-benefit ratio is 0.074, which shows the rural green building will benefit maximum with some investment.This paper innovation points: establish ing a suitable for the rural monomer building evaluation method of cold and arid region, and verified through experiments.
