Household metering technology is the important means to realize building energyefficiency. Master the heat using law and future trend of users in the buildings adoptingheat metering systems have a great significance in promoting the heat metering widely andrealize the goal of heating energy efficiency.First of all, this paper defines the concept of heat using mode. Then according to theroom thermal equilibrium theory analyses the daily indoor temperature change rule withworking mode. Different heat using mode experiments are carried out to heat users fromdifferent typical positions with different heating systems, the result shows that: the roomtemperature daily variation rule is basically identical with different heating systemsadopting working mode, but there is a difference in the temperature change rate in theperiod of heating and cooling. Indoor temperature drop range is less than1℃during thecontrol valve is closed adopting the working mode with radiator heating, and less than0.5℃with floor heating. The theoretical calculation results show that the temperature droprange between1℃and2℃with radiator heatingand less than1℃with floor heating. Thedaily heat consumption on the heat user side adopting working mode is less about18%~28%than the fixed mode with radiator heating, and the floor heating is about20%~26%.What’s more, position near the middle of building, the energy saving effect issignificant to the heat users. So based on the law of room temperature and heatconsumption adopting working mode, this heat using mode is also applied to someone athome during the day.The simulation study of the heat law and feasibility of working mode during theheating season are carried out by DeST-h. The simulation result shows that the heat energysaving effect with working mode during the coldest period is not significant, so consideringthe thermal comfort of indoor environment and the heat storage properties of building, thedaily average temperature limit value of the outdoor air which is the reference of heat usersadopting working mode is divided. With the reference, the economy energy rates of theannual heat consumption to users from different typical positions in the buildings with50%and65%energy saving is14%~20%and18%~25%respectively. What’s more, the moreusers choose the working mode, the less annual cumulative heat consumption of thebuilding. The energy-saving rate of the buildings with50%and65%energy saving up tonearly21%and23%respectively. At last the influence of heat transfer between householdsin working mode is simulated.Using the correlation analysis, regression analysis and single factor variance analysisstudy the influence factors of the user’s behavior of saving heat energy, the result showsthat the energy saving habit, economic factors, concern and policy factors are the most important. The middle-aged or the low and middle-income heat users pay more attention tosave heat energy. According to the analysis result of the influence factors, it proposesguiding policies and suggestion for improving user’s behavior of saving heat energy.
