Objective:To research the application effect of Scenario Simulation Training Method (S.S.T.M.) about pre-hospital emergency involving low qualification doctor (resident doctor) of mining area hospital.Method:We conducted a survey of pre-hospital first-aid skills of low qualification doctors (resident doctors) who had gained the qualification of medical practitioner. Random allocation was taken by dividing60doctors into two groups:observation group (group A30) and control group (group B30). Using two different ways of assessment, Scenario Simulation Method and Conventional Training Method, both groups were given a specialized examination about training. The results of the scores were compared.Result:There was a significant statistical difference of P<0.001on the scores between group A (observation group) and group B (control group) in respect of On-site triage methods, On-site organization capacities, Early recoveries, and Early first aid. The results showed that group A (Scenario Simulation Training Method) performed better than group B (the conventional method training) in above-mentioned tests. There was a significant statistical difference P<0.05between group A (observation group) and group B (control group) in the proportion of Human Care.It was found that the degree of human care in group A was higher than group B.1. There was a significant statistical difference P<0.001on score differences between group A (observation group) and group B (control group) in the On-site triage method test.2. There was a significant statistical difference P<0.001on score differences between group A (observation group) and group B (control group) in the On-site organization capacity test.3. There was a significant statistical difference P<0.001on score differences between group A (observation group) and group B (control group) in the Early recovery test.4. There was a significant statistical difference P<0.001on score differences between group A (observation group) and group B (control group) in the Early first aid skill test.5. There was a significant statistical difference P<0.01on score differences between group A (observation group) and group B (control group) in the Human Care test. Conclusion:Scenario Simulation Training Method is an effective training method that can improve the effectiveness of pre-hospital first-aid skills of low qualification doctors, enhancing people-oriented service ideas, systemizing pre-hospital emergency procedures and cultivating and developing first aid decision-making capabilities. It is a new preferable model for pre-hospital first aid in low qualification doctor (resident doctor) of mining area hospital.
