Objective:This study designed to suvey the current situation of intensive care unitsyndrome among patients in ICU, to explore the related influence factors of ICUsyndrome, and proposes the corresponding nursing countermeasures. Methods:From January to December2013,280the patients who received treatment in acomprehensive ICU from a Grade III-A hospital in ChangChun were recruited tocomplete a series of questionnaires. Study instruments included the generalinformation questionnaire, ICU admission information from of treatment, the AcutePhysiology And Chronic Health Evaluation system II (APACHEII), the Intensive CareUnit Environmental Stressor Scale (ICUESS) and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI). The statistical methods included Chi-square (X2) test/Fisher’s exactprobability method, two independent samples nonparametric rank and inspection (theMann-Whitney U) and unconditional Logistic regression analysis and other statisticalmethods.Results:1. The current situation of intensive care unit syndrome among patients inICU.This actual research object of the study was to248cases,61cases in ICUsyndrome, the incidence was24.6%.2. The sleep quality with patients in ICUThis study into the object of study in the ICU admission during the treatment, affected by various factors, the quality of sleep was generally poor.3. ICU environment pressure source The average sense stress level of ICU environment in the ICU syndrome patientswas higher than not ICU syndrome patients with patients in intensive care unit.(1) The greatest degree of two pressure source in physical environment pressureof ICU environment pressure were “Surrounded by a lot of strange machine” and“Hearing the other patients moan or Shouting”.(2) The greatest degree of two pressure source in humanistic environmentpressure of ICU environment pressure were “Only a few minutes a day to see familyand friends” and “Missing my family”.(3) The greatest degree of two pressure source in treatment environment pressureof ICU environment pressure were “Taking the mouth or nasal intubation” and“Waked up by paramedics”.(4) The greatest degree of two pressure source in patient’s own feelings of ICUenvironment pressure were “Thirstily” and “No autonomy (something are not undermyself control)”.4. The effect factors of intensive care syndrome with patients in ICUThe influenced factors of ICU syndrome were: age (OR=2.051,95%CI:1.021~4.119), family per capita income (OR=0.444,95%CI:0.256~0.770), providerpayments (OR=0.386,95%CI:0.203~0.733), disease severity (APACHEII score)(OR=2.384,95%CI:1.420~4.002), time of operation (OR=1.572,95%CI:1.149~2.151), length of ICU stay (OR=4.168,95%CI:2.559~6.788), the historyof sputum suction (OR=0.196,95%CI:0.040~0.954), the quality of sleep(OR=2.340,95%CI:1.120~4.890), the total score of ICU environment pressure source(OR=1.086,95%CI:1.003~1.176).Conclusions:1. The study concluded that the incidence of ICU syndrome was above high, theincidence was24.6%.2. The patients’ age was older, family per capita income was lower, medicalexpense at his own expense, APACHEII score was the higher, the time of surgery was longer, the longer you stay in the ICU, the history of sputum suction, poor sleepquality, the total score of ICU environment pressure source was the higher, the moreprone to ICU syndrome.
