By analysis the targeted surveillance result of all the discharged patients in ICU of an A Level Hospital of Tangshan during 2009.1.1-2013.12.31, to understand the basic situation of the ICU nosocomial infection, such as the morbidity of nosocomial infection, the common infected part and the prognosis of infected patients; to understand the situation of pathogens and bacterial drug resistance of the infected patients in ICU. By analysis the data, find the main factors leading to the ICU nosocomial infection. Put forward the comments and suggestions for the risk factors, to provide a theoretical basis for prevention and control the nosocomial infections effectively.According to the Standard for nosocomial infection surveillance and adult and pediatric intensive care unit of nosocomial infection monitoring standards published by People’s Republic of China health Industry in April 1, 2009, we investigated 460 discharged patients of ICU in past 5 years, finalized 124 cases of nosocomial infection. Do retrospective analysis to all the discharged patients, register the sex, age, underlying diseases and the staying days in hospital. Infected patients should register invasive operation, the part of infection, the pathogens and the test results of antimicrobial susceptibility. All data processed by the software of SPSS.17.0. Find the risk factors of nosocomial infection and put forward suggestions and countermeasures by univariate chisquare test and multivariate logistic regression. The average morbidity of nosocomial infection in ICU is 29.64% and showing declining trend. The main part of infection is the respiratory tract, bloodstream infection and urinary tract. Male infected patients were more than female patients and it has statistically significant difference. The main underlying diseases of infected patients are cerebrovascular disease, lung disease and infection and celiac disease. The prognosis of infected patients is poor, 44.35% patients died. According to the detection rate of pathogens, we find that the Gram-negative bacteria detection rate(74.89%) is higher than Gram-positive bacteria(19.78%) and Fungi(5.33%).Gram-negative bacteria are a major cause of nosocomial infection pathogens. The problem of bacterial resistance is relatively common, some bacteria’s bacterial drug resistance rates is as high as 90%. Fungal drug resistance rate is still low. Statistics shows that the gender of patient, the days staying in the hospital have an impact on whether patients get nosocomial infection. A variety of invasive operation, chronic disease and malnutrition has become the risk factors of nosocomial infection. The morbidity of nosocomial infection in ICU is really high, we still face great difficulties in its prevention. Invasive operation is the risk factor of nosocomial infection. We should reduce invasive operations as possible and insist on aseptic operation.Bacterial drug resistance is a common problem. We should use antibiotics rationally in clinical work, preventing antibiotics abuse. We should take wide variety of measures to reduce the incidence of nosocomial infection and improve the quality of medical care.
