The Clinical Research On Treating Post Stroke Depression By Electricacupuncture Shen Wu Xing

Objective:By observing the clinical effect of the Electroacupuncture Shen Wu Xing, to provide patients with Post Stroke Depression (PSD) a simple, safe and effective treatment options.Methods:In this study,93cases patients with post stroke depression were randomly divided into3groups, the EA group (EA Shen Wu Xing), the drug group (Prozac) and EA+drug group (EA Shen Wu Xing+Prozac). Each group has31cases,3weeks treatment for a course, total of2courses. This test uses the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), Rhone Planck Sleepiness Scale, respectively assessment time points, before treatment, after three weeks of treatment and after6weeks of treatment respectively, to compare the PTS. Clinical efficacy as an evaluation of the reduction rate of the HAMD total score.Results:Enrolled93subjects, drop out3cases, the completion of the scheme was90cases. The dataset used in this study is PP, statistical analysis, and the results are as follows:(1) within group comparison:After3weeks treatment, after6weeks of treatment, the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) integral and sleep Standings scores were improved, compared with before treatment was statistically significant (P <0.05).(2)between groups:Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) PTS.3weeks after treatment, the EA group, EA+drug group compared to the drug group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); EA group and EA+drug group, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); After6weeks of treatment, the electro-acupuncture group compared with the drug group, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); EA+drug group and EA group, drug group comparison, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Sleep integral Scale change:after6weeks of treatment, the electro-acupuncture group compared with the drug group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); EA group and EA+drug group, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05); drug group and EA+drug group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).(3) after6weeks of treatment, the clinical efficacy compared of three groups: Electro-acupuncture group, the total effective rate was80.00%, markedly effective rate was46.67%; Drug group, the total effective rate was83.33%, markedly effective rate was43.33%; EA plus drug group, the total effective rate was86.67%. markedly effective rate was80.00%; The total effective rate in the three groups, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Three groups markedly effective rate, electro-acupuncture group compared with the drug group, the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05), EA+drug group and EA group, drug group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The treatment on post-stroke depression patients have a certain effect,which is the Electroacupuncture Shen Wu Xing,it as an effective as drug therapy, but rapid onset than drugs, and have a more superior improvement on sleeping.
