The cabin is one of the important features of modern historical buildings inBeijing. It’s not only the interpretation of architectural styles and artistic features, butalso the witness to the evolution of the social history and construction development.As the consciousness of people that realize the importance of modern buildingprotection improved, increasingly more of protection repair engineering has been putin schedule. In these modern historical cabin frame repair work which isimplementation or has completed, most of repair engineering is established in lacks oforiginal widget for informative of research detection, and based on the ignore oforiginal building Widget of Pathology diagnosis. Therefore it will make these lectionof restoration methods based on lack of reliable basis, and still insist the extensiverepair mode. Thus, the outcome will affect the original historic value and restorationresults of buildings, and may be subject to severe damage.Practice has proved that the modern architectural wood truss roof restorationcan’t apply with the general fixes. It needs to base on the accurately determinedeterioration causes and the built heritage conservation principles of practicaltechnology strategies, to maximize the retention of history information that beencarried by the modern historical building. Therefore, this study focused on two levels:one is the pathological diagnosis, the other one is the choice of restoration strategy.Full article is divided into five chapters:Chapter I: Introduction. Gives an introduction to the research by expounding itsbackground, and think about the restoration technology problems of wood truss roof.Then it will introduce the research subjects and research significance. Also it will do areviewing of the research at home and abroad, and give an interpretation of the relatedconcept. Finally, it will give research framework and described the innovative point ofthis article.Chapter II: Summary of Beijing’s modern historic building conservation andrestoration of wood truss roof. Firstly it will do a brief introduction of Beijing modernarchitectural history, also with the transformation and development of modern woodframe construction of Beijing modern historical buildings. Then, it will introduce thewood truss roof form characteristics and evolution, and emphasized the presentsituation of historical building wood truss roof renovation system needs to beprotected. At last there will be a summary on the existing problems and deficiencies of protection and restoration of wood truss roof renovation system.Chapter III: Mechanism of microbial degradation of Beijing modern architecturalwooden frame and remediation technology. Firstly it will do a background researchbased on Beijing climate characteristic, wood selection of modern architecture, andthe evolution of using wood as the building materials. Then will do the analysis ofBeijing modern architectural wood truss roof renovation system common diseases andcauses. Through discusses of mechanism of microbial degradation of wood truss roofrenovation system, to sum up the common type and harm of microbial degradation.Based on the mechanism of microbial degradation, to do the analysis of modernarchitectural wood truss roof restoration technology, and finally concludes wood trussroof repair strategy optimization recommendations.Chapter IV: Instance of Beijing modern architectural wood truss roof restorationtechnology and analysis. With the reviewing of the research in this article,there will be coming out with the conclusions of the author. At last, it will tell theprospection of subsequent research and development direction in the future.
