Intelligent Terminal Control System Design And Application In Household Services

Smart home is a development direction in the Internet of Things. It uses advanced computertechnology and network communication technology to combine all the household facilities, so as tobuild an intelligent household system and provide safe, comfortable and convenient livingenvironment.This thesis introduces the concept of smart home and its current situation and future trends indomestic and overseas. In the overall design, smart home system consists of wireless transmissionnetwork, home gateway and terminal devices. Users can remote query home information andremote control home facilities through home gateway.This thesis describes the network structure of smart home system. It compares several wirelesscommunication technologies and chooses ZigBee technology to build internal transmission networkwhich uses star topology structure. Home gateway’s hardware entity is PC. It communicates withinternal network using ZigBee module and communicates with terminal devices through Socketprotocol. Terminal application software is developed in Android platform.Key of this thesis is the research and implementation of the terminal application software. Themain work includes building Android development environment, Android application design,graphical interface design, Socket communication implementation between terminal and homegateway and verification on the Android system device.
