The Design And Implementation Of Laboratory Oriented Resource Management And Configuration System

With the continuous improvement of enterprise informatization, competitions have been fiercer between the enterprises. Only the advanced technique can help the enterprise defeat other competitors, so that more and more enterprises focus on laboratories to develop new techniques. But every innovation needs to pay a heavy price. Each new technique needs to go through thousands of validations, and each experiment needs to consume a lot of resources. So the enterprises have to face four main problems, which are, too large scale laboratory and high management difficulty, laboratory resources shortage and waste coexisting phenomenon, low efficiency of laboratories working process, and difficulty in cooperate work across teams.The laboratory oriented resource management control system is a small subsystem of ilab system, which provides a self-management and configuration solution. This system can be seen as a web portal. Through this web portal, you can finish the work which used to be done only in the laboratory. The system is mainly based on PHP, HTML and JavaScript language. Database is using SQL Server. The system has four sub-modules, namely permissions module, import configuration module, booking module and entities operating module. Permissions module is used to deal with resource management using access control problem, and with its control of user access to these resources the security of the system have been enhancing. The system requires the user to import some configuration information, so the main task of import configuration module is to import configuration quickly and accurately. Booking module is for a reasonable allocation of resources, and it helps multiple users to share limited resources. Finally, all the operations are preparing for the last step, to operate the entity through the system. An effective solution to the problem of resource control have been proposed by the four sub-module cooperated with each other.Nowadays the world has more than25laboratories using ilab system. Through this system we can reduce the unnecessary waste of resources, and improve the management efficiency which helps the company save millions of dollars. From the above, we can see that the system described in this paper does play an important role in solving the laboratory resources management.
