The indexes to be used in analysis were as follows:1. Index of demography characteristic:including population size, population age structure type, proportion of sex, and population dependency ratio.2. Index of death level:including crude death rate, death rate and cause-specific death rate in different age or gender and standardized mortality rate,3. Index of proportion and sequence of dying a specific cause:proportion and sequence of death causes in different age or gender.4. Life expectancy, potential years of life lost, causes eliminated life expectancy and average years of life lost.Results1. The proportion in0-14years old and65year old and above were16.34%, and10.67%in2011. Child-aged ratio was65.27%and median age was36.49years old. Gaotang country had already marched into the old age society. Sex ratio was102.30. 2. The standardized death rate in male was higher (6.35%o) than that in female (5.46%o). The mortality rate which in the Neoplasms, Injury and poisoning as well as diseases of the digestive system and circulatory system was obviously higher than that in the female. Life expectancy of people in Gaotang country was76.11. The life expectancy of male was lower than that of female (73.99and78.33respectively).3. Infant mortality rate varied from2.24%o to6.45%o.4. Life expectancy extended, and men should be given more attention to in future work. The dangers of chronic non-communicable diseases highlights. Injury and poisoning is an important cause of death. Mortality rate and ranking of causes of death of infectious and parasitic diseases decreased gradually.Suggestions1. We should prepared to actively respond to the challenges of the aging process. 2. Further consolidate and improve the population registration of death reporting system, and control the quality strictly.3. Strengthen the monitoring of chronic diseases, explore the etiology and risk factors and take effective interventions.4. Establish and improve the community heath service network, expand and improve the community health service, medical care, prevention, rehabilitation, health education and family planning technical services and other functions.
