| ObjectivesHeel pain is a common disease of foot. In clinical, the pathogeny of heel pain is diverse at present, but Plantar Fasciitis(PF) is considered the most clinicopathologic factors to cause the PF. The pain of foot which is caused by Heel Pain greatly influences the patient quality of life and work. Although the treatments for PF are more, but the clinical application of various therapy is chaos, clinicians lack a powerfullyã€cheaper and fewer complications treatment method provisionally. Steroid injection is currently preferred treatment, it is powerful clinically, but often apply to patients which is suffered light disease, and the recurrence rate is high, and it will have complications, so the patient compliance is poor. Drug oral therapy can only ease symptoms, mostly use for beginning period patient, do not obviously improve to illness development. Other expectant treatment have weak point such as needing a long time, and the healing effect is unsure. Surgical trauma is bigger, expenses and complications high. For the past few years, Percutaneous release of plantar aponeurosis, which can completely remove the pathogeny, is being the next step the focus of therapy and direction of treating PF. This topic which make steroid injection treatment as controls, take prospective randomized control study, to evaluate the curative effect of water acupotomology minimally invasive treatment of PF systemically, and investigate the validity and safety of water acupotomology minimally invasive treatment of PF. We hope we can find the best treatment intervention of PF which is combine the water acupotomology and steroid injection.MethodsAccording to the inclusion criteria of PF, we select sixty-seven cases without elimination of standard sufferers who are diagnosed in orthopaedics outpatient department in Guangdong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. They are randomly separated into three groups, such as Water accupotomology groupã€Pure accupotomology groupã€Steroid injection group, we give corresponding treatment for each group. All patients were given treatment only one time, and the treatment were implemented in outpatient service operating room. Before the treatment and4weeksã€8weeksã€half a years follow-up, all based on the VAS score of different specific states and the specific functional scale of walking state of the foot functional evaluation before and after the treatment, the curative effect will be recorded. According to the efficiency evaluation criteria on 《Guiding Principle of Chinese Herbs and New Medicine Clinical Research》, the efficiency evaluation as follows:Cured: the integral of pain, tenderness, walking without weigh support and so on symptoms and signs decrease≥95%, the function of foot activities become normal. Significant effective:the integral of pain, tenderness, walk without weigh support and so on symptoms and signs decrease≥70%,<95%, the function of foot activities become closest to normal. Effective:the integral of pain, tenderness, walk without weigh support and so on symptoms and signs decrease≥30%,<70%, the function of foot activities is relieved. Ineffective:the integral of pain, tenderness, walk without weigh support and so on symptoms and signs decrease<30%, the function of foot activities have no improvements.Result1ã€After the treatment of half a year, three groups of patients have positive results in the VAS score of different specific states and the specific functional scale of walking state evaluation with P<0.05. The differences are of significance in statistics science.2ã€After the treatment of4,8weeks and half a year, the VAS score and the specific functional scale of walking state of the Water accupotomology group maximum decline, which compared with the Steroid injection group and the Pure accupotomology group, The differences are of significance in statistics science(P<0.05).3ã€Follow-up treatment after4weeks, compared with the steroid injection group, the VAS score and the specific functional scale of walking state of the pure accupotomology group decline more P<0.05. The differences are of significance in statistics science(P<0.05). But follow-up treatment after8 weeks and half a year, the VAS score and the specific functional scale of walking state of the pure accupotomology group and steroid injection group took the similar decline with P>0.05, it has no statistical different for the stable figures.Conclusion1ã€The Water accupotomologyã€Steroid injectionã€Pure accupotomology treatment of Plantar Fasciitis releases the patients’clinical syndrome efficiently, improve the function of their foot, and the quality of their life.2ã€The Water accupotomology treatment has a effective performance in short and long term, and it has a stronger performance in curative effect than Steroid injection and Pure accupotomology treatment in Plantar Fasciitis. |
