As a reality show, China's Got Talent concludes7elements. The first element is partakers, including competitors, host and judges. The second element is timing. One season lasts more than10weeks. The third element is space. The places where the competition takes place includesmusical hall, Great Hall of the People and Shanghai Stadium. The fourth element is the contest forthe only winner. The fifth element is the rule of passing or losing. It means in the preliminarycontest the competitors must get more the two YES from the three judges to get into the seminalcompetition and in the seminal, results are decided by the media while at the final competition, itis the audiences who choose the winners. The sixth element is the state of showing on and the lastelement is editing. Knowing the TV show thoroughly, the paper tells that although it seems areality show which is shown by common people with their real talent, it's in fact a fictional showas a result of editing. In this way, China's Got Talent is really a professional TV show transcribedby amateur actors, who are just common people. It broadcasts the value of social talents and earnsa lot for the TV station by the way. In view of mass culture, it's a TV show which is wholly shownby common people and gets its success with the help of the masses. The tags of mass culture, which includes copy, entertainment and commercialization, can all be found in this show.Meanwhile, it's the judges who control the whole competition and the TV station which controlsthe whole show. Thinking that the judges are people who get professional and traditional trainingand stand for the authorities, it can be evidently found that this reality show of common people isnot really theirs but the authorities'. It tells the masses to believe in family relationship, friendshipand love, to trace success and compete with the other nation. But it doesn't belong to the massesand the reality is that it keeps away from the masses.
