Clinical Study Of Treatment To Late-stage Colorectal Cancer Using Prescription Of Strengthening The Spleen To Reinforcing Qi And Detoxification And Dissolving Stasis Combined With XELOX Chemotherapy

Objective:Study and explore the clinical effects on the patients of late-stage colorectal cancer treated by strengthening the Spleen to reinforcing qi and detoxification and dissolving stasis prescription combined with chemotherapy. Further specify the treatment role of Chinese medicine strengthening the Spleen to reinforcing qi and detoxification and dissolving stasis prescription.Methods:Choose 40 patients with colorectal cancer, and divide them randomly into treatment group and the control group. Take strengthening the Spleen to reinforcing qi and detoxification and dissolving stasis prescription in the treatment group(20 cases),one bag one day, and even served six weeks, and combined with XELOX chemotherapy, the specific drug as follows:oxaliplatin cisplatin 130mg/m2 ivgtt2h dl; Xeloda 1000mg/m2,were taken orally for 14 days, interval seven days, every three weeks one cycle; the control group(20 cases), only for or XELOX program two cycles. Compare Chinese clinical symptoms, living condition before and after treatment, tumor symbols, toxicity after chemotherapy between two groups were also observed.Results:The clinical symptoms of patients:the effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higher than the control group by statistical analysis,(P=0.017). In the quality of life and Karnofsky the difference have meaning in the statistics (P<0.05). However, there are no significant difference in stabling tumor resection and reducing the expression of serum CEA (P>0.05) between the treatment group and the control group. After chemotherapy observing bone marrow suppression and liver damage mainly; the results show the incidence of bone marrow suppression in the treatment group were lower than the control group, the difference has meaning in the statistics (P=0.035). The difference makes sense in the statistics of Liver damage between two groups (P=0.124).Conclusion:The usage of taking XELOX chemotherapy in the treatment of late-stage advanced colorectal cancer with strengthening the Spleen to reinforcing qi and detoxification and dissolving stasis prescription could improve patients'clinical symptoms and living conditions, reduces the side effects of chemotherapy. However, there are no significant difference in stabling tumor resection and reducing the expression of serum CEA between two groups. The treatment methods of strengthening the Spleen to reinforcing qi and detoxification and dissolving stasis prescription are one of the effective ways to treat colorectal cancer.
