A Clinical Observation Of Invigorating The Spleen, Nourishing Liver, Dissolving Stasis And Detoxification In Posthepatitic Cirrhosis

Objective:This study will investigate the clinical efficacy in the way of invigorating the spleen,Nourishing liver dissolving stasis and detoxification,by observing the change of the main clinical symptoms, positive signs and serum test, as well as discuss the optimal efficiency of combining Chinese with western medicine, to evaluate the effect in arresting the progress of Cirrhosis,and observe the adverse effect, toxicity and security.Method:56 posthepatitic cirrhosis patients will be involved from clinic and inpatient,who will be separated into the treatment group(n=29) and the control group(n=27). The latter take the normal and symptomatic treatment,and then the former adopt the method of invigorating the spleen,Nourishing liver dissolving stasis and detoxification with the latter's way. It will take one period of treatment (3 months) to observe the diversity of their the main clinical symptoms, positive signs and serum test.Result:The treatment group improve the hypodynamia, hypochondriac pain and anorexia very clearly(p<0.05). The effect of relieving abdominal distension and ascites is better than the control group, but hepatosplenomegaly of two groups all improve indistinctly; the treatment group's laboratory indicators as ALT, AST, TB,y-GT decrease clearly(p<0.05), CHE and AKP also take a favourable turn inordinately; Two groups also have the falling albumin and the inversion of A/G, after curing, they are also grtting better, prealbumin of the treatment group is raising specially (P<0.01); prothrombin time of the treatment group is shorten obviously (P<0.01). We observed 29 patients who suffered from the treatment group. The total effective rate was 80%, while the controll group only 50%. On the improvement of the main clinical symptoms, positive signs and serum test, the treat group also obviously better than the controlled group.Conclusion:By observing the change of the main clinical symptoms, positive signs and serum test, The treatment group is possessed of long-dated curative effect. Its effect in arresting the progress of Cirrhosis is equivaqlent or better than western medicine.On the other way, the rate of the adverse effect is lower, and the security is higher.
