Hardware Evolution Of Technology And Its Application Of Basic Research

In this thesis, the principles and realization methods of evolvable hardware have been systematically introduced. Evolvable algorithms are mainly discussed and many deep researches have been done on the basic application of evolvable hardware.This thesis firstly discussed the research work in details in terms of researching basis, researching methods and contents, as well as evolvable technologies and programmable chips. And then the realizing methods of basic evolvable algorithm and improved version are narrated. Evolvable algorithms are applied to functional digital combinational logic circuits with the structure of ClassicEPGlO chip of Altera Co. and the detailed analyses of typical examples are also given. Finally, researches of the article are concluded, and some ideas of future study are put forward.The results of simulation prove that the improved algorithms are feasible for evolving the digital combinational logic circuits and improve the evolvable efficiency and convergence performance.
