The development of the junior high school history textbook homework problems has experienced a scratch, from single to multiple processes. With the development of the education of history and the promote of new curriculum reform, after-school exercise can not only helps students consolidate and apply the knowledge learned in class, but also helps to develop students’ thinking ability and creativity. The junior high school history textbook which from People’s Education Press in the new curriculum reform has made a groundbreaking contribution in helping students consolidate basic knowledge, as well as improves the students’historical thinking ability and expand the innovation ability. However, some problems also existed in the design of the homework which need to be fixed.So this article is intended to focus on the junior high school history textbook which from People’s Education Press in the new curriculum reform, and detailed analysis and study about the junior high school history after-school exercise. The introduction part briefly introduced in this paper, the research significance, research status, research ideas and methods as well as innovation and deficiency. Body first outlined mainly summarizes evolution of the junior high school history textbook homework problems in nearly a hundred years, and to generalize the type and discuss its role; then through the data is the focus of this paper, which we will study the junior high school history after-school exercise to find it whether meet the three-dimensional target after-school exercise requirements or not. And we also analysis of the kinds of questions and problems after-school exercise capacity, as well as heavy and difficult embodied knowledge.and we shall do statistical analysis to the difficulty of the homework problems according to the specific questionnaire;and through explores the PEP history textbook of junior high school exercise problems. At the same time we will do a brief analysis of their causes; finally, the chapter mainly proposes appropriate improvement measures to the problems in the PEP history textbook of junior high school exercise from the three-dimensional object, heavy and difficult knowledge etc of the junior middle school history textbooks for school exercise deficiencies exist, propose appropriate recommendations for improvement from the three-dimensional object, heavy and difficult knowledge, difficulty, etc.
