Jianpi Xiaozhang Treatment Of Spleen And Functional Dyspepsia Clinical Efficacy Studies,

Purpose:To observe therapeutic effect and security of Jianpi Xiaozhang Fang for treatment of functional dyspepsia with stagnation of Qi due to spleen deficiency.Method :according to western medicine functional dyspepsia Romeâ…¢standard and TCM symptoms select the 36 patient which accord with the test. Randomized into treatment group of 24 cases treated with JXF and control group of 12 cases with balm.Adopting quantificational method ,observe therapeutic effect of TCM symptoms and symptoms of Jianpi Xiaozhang Fang for treatment of functional dyspepsia with stagnation of Qi due to spleen deficiency.According to some related articles and books,we designed the questionnaire and asked the patients to fill it before and after treatment when the investigation is over and observe the gastric emptying function of stagnation of Qi due to spleen deficiency and the effect of gastrointestind motility after treating by JXF through X-ray fluoroscopy markers method.we make records about every questionnaire and put the data into computer.Finally,we deal with the data by spss10.0 and draw the conclusion.Results:The symptoms and the gastric emptying of the FD patients in the treatment group improved apparently,but there was no significant difference in control group. After the treatment, there was a significant difference in total scores between treatment group and control group (P<0.01). Before the treatment, there was no significant difference in symptom scores between these two groups, however, significant difference was found between these two groups after the treatment. Patients with dysfunction of gastric emptying were found by X-ray fluoroscopy markers method (treatment group: 11cases; control group: 6cases). Through the rechecking after the treatment, there was significant improvement in treatment group (P<0.05), but there was no significant improvement in control group (P>0.05) and obviously, there was significant difference between these two groups (P<0.01)The overall effective rate in treatment group was significant higher than that in control group (70.83% vs 25.00%, P<0.01 ),and no adverse reaction was found in both groups.Conclusion:Jianpi Xiaozhang Fang took a effect on treatment of functional dyspepsia with stagnation of Qi due to spleen deficiency for enhancing gastric emptying and improving symptoms and no adverse reaction.
