The Influence Of Xiaochaihu Decoction On Gastrointestinal Motility And Gastrointestinal Hormone In Functional Dyspepsia Rats (Syndrome Of Liver-qi Stagnation And Spleen-qi Deficiency)

Objective:To observe the influence of Xiaochaihu decoction on gastrointestinal hormone (MTL、GAS、VIP) and gastric emptying and intestinal propulsive in functional dyspepsia rats (syndrome of liver-qi stagnation and spleen-qi deficiency) and to analyze the mechanism of Xiaochaihu decoction in treating functional dyspepsia.Method:48rats were randomly divided into four groups (12of one group):Blank group(AG), Model group(BG), Xiaochaihu decoction group(XG), Domperidone group(DG). In addition normal group to the other three groups with composite cause made mode method (chronic restraint stress+excessive fatigue+irregular food) made mode, Continuous21days; Then filled the AG rats with normal saline by intragastric administration for14days; and named other3groups as: model group(MG),Xiaochaihu decoction(XG) and Domperidone group (DG), filled respectively with normal saline, Xiaochaihu decoction and Domperidone liquor by intragastric administration for14days. The4groups durining24hours without feeding anything but water after the treatment was finished in the35th day, then began to carry out the experiment of gastric emptying and intestinal propulsive, take serum for testing in the36th day.Results:1.Compared with that in the blank group, the blood serum of MTL, GAS content and intestinal propulsive ratio in model group significantly decreased, while the gastric emptying and the content of VIP obviously increased(P﹤0.05or P﹤0.01).2.Compared with that in the model group, the blood serum of MTL, GAS content and intestinal propulsive ratio in the Xiaochaihu decoction and Domperidone group signifieantly increased, while the gastric emptying and the content of VIP obviously decreased(P﹤0.05or P﹤0.01); all the indexes was not statistically significant between Xiaochaihu decoction and Domperidone group.Conclusion:1.Xiaochaihu decoction promots gastric emptying and intestinal propulsive in funetional dyspepsia model rats.2.Xiaochaihu decoction has increased the blood serum of MTL, GAS content and reduced content of VIP in functional dyspepsia model rats.3.The mechanism of treatment FD might be that Xiaochaihu decoction has the effects of promoting gastric emptying and intestinal propulsive, increasing the blood serum of MTL, GAS content and reducing content of VIP in funetional dyspepsia model rats.4.Xiaochaihu decoction is an effective Chinese medieine for treating funetional dyspepsia(syndrome of liver-qi stagnation and spleen-qi deficiency).
