The problem of employment is related to the national development and social stability. In the third group study among the members of the Political Bureau of CPC Central Committee,Hu Jingtao had made a speech that employment is vital to people's livelihood.It is the basic premise and fundamental way to improve the quality of people's life.We must insist on the promotion of employment as the major strategic tasks which is related to the general situation of reforming,developing and steadying and carry out long term strategy and policies to promote employment.The contradiction between market's supply and demand gives rise to the difficulty of college student's employment.With enlargement of Medical Student admission scale, employment problems of Medical Student have been given more and more attention by all fields of society.Seven-year medical education has become the main cultivational mode in Beijing University of Chinese Medicine.The employment of Seven-year students has caused wide public concerns, which is also an important component of School Staff.Therefore, in order to improve seven-year graduates'employment, we must have a thorough knowledge of the emploment of seven-year graduates and correctly analyze the status of seven-year graduates'employment.It is not only a hot topics but also a subject worthy of being thoroughly studied.Method:This article firstly research the situation of employment about our school's seven-year graduates, account and analyse the basic conditions of employment, rate of employment, employment direction as well as employment Trends and employment feature that of seven-years graduates' employment.Content:Basic information of seven-year graduates from 1998 to 2009, included Number of graduates,gender proportion,politics status and region; Employment rate,included overall employment rate,annual employment rate,alumnus'and alumnas'employment rate,towns graduates'and rural graduates' employment rate,party member graduates' and league member graduates' employment rate; Employment Trends and employment feature.Conclusion:There is an annual increase of the number of graduates and annual decrease of employment rate;The employment rate of girl graduates is higher than boy graduates; Graduates from urban area had a higher employment rate than those from rural area; The employment rate of party member graduates is higher than both league member graduates and the masses; With the lapse of time, employment options is becoming increasingly diversified, and the units of employment becomes much richer and multiple increasingly, which widened the range of employment; "Flexible employment ratios" gradually increased; Community employment became popular year by year;There are more and more seven-year graduates are going to prepare for the doctoral qualifying examination.Proposal:By means of summarizing and analysising seven-year graduates'data of employment,I put forward some suggestions which included:We should further constructe the practice bases and be closely associated with employer and help students to acquire practical working knowledge; Strengthen the career guidance education, establish a correct concept of employment, encourage graduates go to and work at grass-roots levels, take part in flexible employment and other form of employment; Reinforce the management of rural graduates and promote their employment; Party member develops vanward type action to promote employment;Enlargerecruiting Scheme and ease employment tension, increase the employment channels and promote graduates employment; Improve the reform of talent cultivation of seven-year student and fundamentally improve their employabilit.
