With our country accession to the WTO,the tradition Chinese medicine industry is considered as one of the most potential industries for international competition.Superfine grinding technology has made a breakthrough in modernization of traditional Chinese medicine.The ginseng is profitable for body in antiquity,now it have other functions,such as, reinforce vital energy,beneficial spleen,lung,wisdom,quench thirst,soothing the nerves and so on.Our experiment is mainly research on the function of ginseng's coarse powder and superfine powder in pharmacology and the toxicology.The study in pharmacology content include:(1) Calm hypnosis experiment,mouse were divided into several groups randomly. used the ginseng coarse powder,different particle size superfine powder,5%starch solution to fill the stomach separately,to observe independent activity of mouse,the pentobarbital result hypnosis function situation:(2) Anti-irritability experiment.the method idem.to observe mouse under hypoxia tolerance,a heavv load swimming and continuance running ability;(3) reduce stress experiment,mouse were divided into several groups randomly.used different doses of ginseng superfine powder to give medicine in duodenal tissue and subcutaneous tissue,to observe the changes of blood pressure in renal hypertensive mouse model.Toxicology studies used ginseng coarse,superfine powder to acute toxicity and the maximum tolerance test.The results of pharmacology study show that ginseng after the micronizing,generally the particle size did not have the obvious change with its coarse powder comparison drug efficacy function.The ginseng micro smashing reached the 21-88nm diameter,it had the obvious change in pharmacology activity,such as,the mouse had a heavy load swimming,the time was longer in group of 21-88 nm diameter than the negative control group(P<0.001) and positive control group(P<0.01).The model of animal in renal hypertensive effects experiment showed the impact on blood pressure(two-way adjustment) was not significant change in the diameter of ginseng superfine powder exceeded ordinary ginseng,which made rapid declined in blood pressure.However,other ginseng preparation had not obvious antihypertensive effect.From the above results analysis,after ginseng smashed to 21-88 nm diameters in advanced micro devices,it occur mutation in anti-fatigue and hypotension effect,and increased the effect.However,its mechanism and target organ require further study.The toxicology results indicated that ginseng's toxicity reduces obviously after the micronizing,ginseng coarse powder's LD50 is 5.0g/kg,while the capacity of average size of powder in death than half its 2.8 fold(14g/kg),the animals had not seen obvious poisoning symptoms and did not have a death.
