Zhi Qing Capsule In Treating Hyperlipidemia (liver And Kidney Syndrome) Iii Clinical Study

Objective:To investigate the clinical effect,security of ZhiQing Capsule(ZQC) in treating hyperlipidemia。Methods:120 cases of hyperlipidemia with hepatic and renal yin deficiency syndrome,aged 18 to 65,were enrolled from the clinic of ChengDu university of TCM.They were randomly devided into treatment group and control group. Treatment group were treated with ZhiQing Capsule(ZQC),while control group were treated with ZhiMaiKang Capsule(ZMK).The period of treatment was 4 weeks.the symptoms and signs were observed both before and after treatment. The correlative eximations were taken both before and after treatment.Result:The total lipid-regulating effect of ZQC is 51.72%,The total lipid-regulating effect of ZMKC is 49.15%,It showed efficacy after treatment to decrease total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG) and the index of atherosclerosis(AI),there was no significant difference.In this respect ZQC's lipid-regulating effect was similar with ZMKC,the efficacy of ZQC to increase high density lipoprotein -cholesterol(HDL-C) has an obvious advantage over that of ZMKC(P＜0.05).During treating,there is no side effect to the patients' health in both the treated group and the controlled group.Conclusion:ZhiQing Capsule has a similar total effect as ZhiMaiKang Capsule in regulating blood lipid.It has an advantage in increasing high density lipoprotein-cholesterol(HDL-C),it has good safety during treating hyperlipidemia.
