Sini Powder In Treating Liver Depression Card Gastrointestinal Motor Dysfunction In An Animal Model Of Experimental Research

Objective: To establish the rats model of Liver-Qi depression Syndrome with the gastroenteric motional function imbalance and grope for the function machanism of Sinisan curing them.Methods: This animal model is made by the method of confining the rats' movement. Using Sinisan by way of curative ,The animal syndrome is observed with quantitative and half-quantitative method. The animal model's intelligence level is measured according to water maze. The morphologic change of stomach, small intestine is watched according to HE staining. The ultrastructure change in the stomach and small intestine is observed with electron microscope. The gastroenteric motional function is measured according to the movement of semisolid substance. The plasma level of motilin(MTL), gastrin(Gas) , somatastin(SS) and vasoactive intestinal polypeptide(VIP) are measured by radioimmunoassay(RIA).Results: ①The rat model of Liver-Qi depression Syndrome with the gastroenteric motional function imbalance have been established. Compared with the controlled rats, the general condition of the model rats is abnormal. Their symptoms are as followings: dysphoria,scratcher,indignant easily, the raspy voice,sleepy and Ripvan Winkle, crouching together, the slow response ,the puffed hair, the dry stool, the reducing movement,the falling body weight, flatulence , The solid which is left in the stomach increases unusually (P < 0.05) . The small intestine's drive rate becomes slower than that of the controlled rats (P < 0.05) .②The function machanism which sinisan cure the rats model of Liver-Qi depression Syndrome with the gastroenteric motional function imbalance have been found: Sinisan can make the rats increase the movement, body weight and intelligence level (P < 0.05) . The solid which is left in the stomach decreases unusually (P < 0.05) . The small intestine's drive rate becomes slower than that of the model rats (P < 0.05) . The pathological and ultrastructure change in stomach and small intestine resume well.;inprove the plasma level of motilin(MTL), gastrin(Gas) and vasoactive intestinal polypeptide(VIP), decreases the somatastin(SS).Conclusions: Using the above mentioned method, we can establish the stable rat model of Liver-Qi depression Syndrome with the gastroenteric function imbalance. By adjusting gastroenteric function and gastroenteric hormone level , protecting gastroenteric mucous membrane, Sinisan make catharsis get right of the liver and gall.
