Clinical Studies In Vascular Dementia Of Blood Stasis Syndrome

Based on my tutor clinical practice the modem research of TCM on Vascular Dementia (VD) ,some theories have been put forward.They are blood stasis at brain is the basic pathogenic mechanism of VD;deficiency and failure of kidney-yang is its important pathogenic basis.Thus Kangnaoling II Capsule,which can promote blood circulation at brain mainly and can warm and tonify kidney-yang auxiliarily,has been used to cure VD.The therapeutic effects and parts of the therapeutic mechanism of Kangnaoling H Capsule have been studied clinically and experimentally. And these are the priliminary study on the relation between blood stasis symptoms and signs and VD.ln the clinical study,33 patients with VD have been divided randomly into 2 groups,the group treated with Kangnaoling II Capsule and the group treated with Piracetamum.The clinleal results show KangnaoLing II Capsule can obviously improve the VD patients clinical manifestations and the indexes of hemorrheology and can increase average speed of blood at brain(compared with Piracetamum Group, P <0.01 ,P < 0.05).ln the experimental study,the rats of model blood stasis which is cerebral ischemia have been made.The experimental results show Kangnaoling II capsule can improve the model rats?blood adhesive aggreation obviously(compared with Piracetamum Group, P < 0.01 ,P <0.05).
