The Research Of The Diversification Strategy Based On The Core Competency

The diversification strategy is always the research focus of the theory and the business practice, and there are some differences between the theory research and enterprise practice, which bring new research tasks to the theory research. Many enterprises attempt to realize the enterprise expansion by the diversification strategy, although some enterprises have obtained the short-term economic interest, generally speaking, the majority enterprises fell into the difficult position of the diversification.With the predecessors'research of the diversification strategy based on the core competency, this article starts with the analysis of the whole diversification situation of the consumer electronics industry, then make a case study of the Sichuan Chang hong company, analyze the strategy selection and the cultivation of the core competency. With these analyses, this article tries to find the correlation between the diversification strategy and the core competency, and offer some suggestions of the management of the diversification to the enterprise. This article stresses on the point that the way to improve the core competency by the diversification strategy and the way to realize the good correlation between them. With the analysis mentioned above, this article attempts to find a theory method to help the enterprise break through the growth bottleneck of the specialization and realize their expansion by the diversification strategy.
