Cultivated land as the carrier of food production is the basis of human survival, protecting it is in the protection of our own lifeline. Land loaded with social security function, so food security is an important component of the national security. Treasure and the rational use of every inch of land, effectively protecting farmland is China's basic national policy. Along with raising the level of urban development and the continuous adjustment of agricultural structure, the total amount of cultivated land decreasing trend shows that China's cultivated land protection in face greater pressure. China is in the middle stage of the development of urbanization and industrialization, social development is very fast, the demand for construction land is very strong, resulting in the continuous expansion of construction land, which is exacerbated the contradiction between the Farmland Protection and the socio-economic development. To coordinate this contradiction, should make an accurate prediction on the amount of cultivated land reserved, and then co-ordinate arrangements for all types of land.The paper is divided into five parts:The first part is to introduce the background and the significance of the selection, the purpose and the task of this research, the process of the research on predicting the amount of cultivated land reserved, and research methods and technology route.The second part is to discuss in detail the theoretical basis of this paper and the description of multi-objective planning optimization model of this paper.The third part is to take Guichi District Chizhou City Anhui Province as an example, construct the prediction model of cultivated land and determine the objective function decision variables and constraints of prediction model; design scenario with population and food demand as the main factors in the model; With the supporting of the LINDO software, predict the amount of cultivated land reserved of Guichi District in 2020 would be 42124.53 hectare.The fourth part is to analyze the changes of all types of land and changes in the layout of cultivated land of Guichi District in 2008—2020, and then give the effective measures and recommendations of the cultivated land protection and the layout optimization.The last part is the conclusion of this paper. It summarizes the main study contents and proposes some deficiencies.
