With the continuous development advancement of the exponential increase of the chip design scale and fabrication technology, the verification ability has fallen behind the design and fabrication ability and is becoming the bottle-neck of manufacturing SoC chips. Study on SoC functional verification is done in this dissertation whose background is the verification of FLASH controller in SM9AXX.Firstly, this paper introduces the background and status of verification techniques and describes the details of FLASH and FLASH controller. Then, it compile the verification implement scheme based on the design standard, set up verification flat, run the flat with directional, randomize and error drive, the check and assertion are working during the run of flat, when the randomize drive run, function coverage, code coverage, the overturn of IO should be 100%, if not, explain it. After verification, this module can be use in system and tape out. The result shows that the combine use of assertion, coverage and constraint-random that based on SV can increase the efficiency of verification.
