With the fast development of modernization construction in our country, storage management business has more important function and status. To design and develop storage management information system based on computers helps to raise the efficiency of warehouse using, maintain the high efficiency of the cargo turnover, implement the precise inventory control, reduce spoilage and cost. Now, computer application technique and network technique develop fleetly. Many kinds of new method and technique rush, which kind of framework and popular technique should this kind of system development adopt? Surrounding the problem above, the paper spreads primary exploration and practice based on an actual storage management information system.The paper generalizes domestic storage management actuality, analyzes the need and feasibility of developing storage management information system based on Web multilayer architecture, concisely states three layers structure and ASP. NET, ADO.NET and so on about .NET key technique, and comparing with other similar technique, points the development advantage of .NET Framework. ASP. NET technique, which is a very strong server technique of developing dynamic web pages, subordinates in Microsoft.NET framework, and provides the web application procedure model, builds on the object-oriented thought—modularization and the module technology. In system configuration, according to the complexity of system, we decided to use multilayer architecture based on three layers architecture, which made the whole system have good maintenance and extendibility.Based on analyzing the need of Guangxi Longtan hydroelectric power station permanent electromechanical device and the metal structure scene warehousing management information system, according to the need of actual business management function, we confirmed system's architecture, emphasize detailed design of the special-purpose tool management subsystem in the system. On the .NET platform, we used the concept of system configuration to bring forward a new kind of configuration that the system was divided into five layers based on three layers: Utility layer, Model layer, Business Logic layer, SQLServerDAL layer, Stella layer, analyzed and designed"genus"function in every layer, and took the special-purpose tool management subsystem as an example to elaborate the detailed function realization, including database design and realization, network design as well as main code of every layer in subsystem skeleton and corresponding annotation.The paper supplies reference about designing, developing management information system based on ASP. NET and multilayer architecture.
