As a technology, Campus Smart Card is used widely in today's universities. One of its typical applications is checking on teachers' work attendance. In Donghua University, most of teachers go to work and go back home by shool buses every day. So readers of Campus Smard Card are deployed on every shool bus to check teachers' attendance. However, these readers can only acquire data of Campus Smart Card; they can not transmit these data to back-end server. To do it, manpower is needed. It is proved that there are lots of shortcomings of this method and it's also inefficient.In order to amend this situation, Data Acquisition System of Campus Smart Card Based on Wirless Transmission is put forward as a solution. This scenario resolve current problem by using wireless network. As one of subtopics, this paper discuss the design and implementation of a key part of the scenario, that is, Embedded Data Acquisition Terminal of Campus Smart Card Based on Wireless Transmission.As a substitute of reader of Campus Smart Card, this kind of terminal can not only acquire data of Campus Smart Card, but also have the ability to transmit data by wirless network. Terminals are deployed on every school buses and an embedded base station is deployed on parking area. So, when a shool bus comes near the parking area, the terminal on the bus will transmit the acquired data to the base station by wireless network. Then the base station will transmit the data to back-end server via wired network.This paper expounds the design and implementation of the Embedded Data Acquisition Terminal of Campus Smart Card Based on Wireless Transmission. At the beginning, we introduce the background of this topic, the general plan of the solution and studies of associated research area. After that, we describe the hardware design of the target board of the terminal. We introduce the design of block graph of the hardware system, the design of schematic diagram and the design of PCB layout. We also show the photograph of the practical target board. When we introduce the design of the embedded software of the terminal, we describe the analysis modeling, architectural design and detailed design, according to the sequence of practical development procedure. We also emphasize the implementation of key parts of the embedded software. At the end of the paper, we summarize it, as well as disuss the application prospect of the system and the future works.The embedded data acquisition terminal has already been implemented. It runs smoothly under test. The result proved that the solution is feasible and practical. It is a good example for other similar systems.The design and implementation of Data Acquisition System of Campus Smart Card Based on Wirless Transmission will chage the situation of transmitting data of Campus Smart Card by manpower in Donghua University. The automatic data acquisition and transmission will bring increase of work efficiency and reduction of cost.
