The Design And Implementation Of Campus Smart Card Application System

The rapid development of computer technology has accelerated the process ofinformatization construction in our country. Especially smart card technology has beenwidely used in various areas,it makes ampus card system has been popularized and widelyused. More and more colleges and universities have used the campus card system, whichprovides convenience for the management of the school.Some attentive problems are proposed according to the construction of our schoolcampus card project. In the aspect of the selection of hardware, the system choses MifareS50contactless IC card, because it is suitable for the campus card system. In the aspect ofthe selection of software, the operating system choses Windows2008Server and databasechoses SQL Server2005.This Paper describes the method of system development, thearchitectural design and database design of the system in detail. This system of card centerplatform is successfully constructed and the development of network architecture design,software platform of the comprehensive consumer subsystem, water control subsystem,management subsystem and computer room management system have completed.The system architecture adopts the combination of Browser/Server mode andClient/Server mode. The technology used in the campus card system includes Delphitechnology,.NET technology and COM technology. In the C/S structure, the designmethod adopts two layer system structure, and the presentation layer and business logiclayer implementation uses Delphi technology, and the system uses the ADO componenttechnology to achieve the access to the database system; In the B/S structure, the designmethod adopts two layer system structure, and the presentation layer using ASP pages, andthe system uses.NET technology to design, develop, and deploy the application, and thesystem uses IIS to achieve the management of the code page. The application side isdivided into three layers structure, from the inside to the outside are database andtransaction layer, presentation layer, and application layer,and the system uses ADO. NETto realize the data’s local access. The construction of network structure of the systemadopts the combination of the method of RS-485bus and TCP/IP protocol. In theconsumption more intensive places such as dining room using the RS-485bus mode, inthe campus network such as computer room and library using TCP/IP protocol mode,which improved the systematic security, stability and maintainability. Through the actualapplication, The system solves the practical problems of the teachers and students in the campus, and that’s the way to lead up the school management towards digitalization andmodernization.
