Luzhou Medical College Campus Card System, The Design And Realization

Nowadays, there are many certificates or cards used at campus, but the interoperation of these cards is not feasible. Because one certificate or card can be used only for validation or consumption in a specific system, or even some mess cards can not be used at different campuses of the same college, thus brings about much inconvenience. On the other hand, although there are more and more Campus-Wide Information Systems, their data can not be shared because of their mutual independence.Campus Card System has been widely used in recent years. It can solve the existing problems mentioned above to a preferable extent. The system adopts a smart card to store part of cardholders'information, uses read-write terminal, computer network and database technique to collect, transmit and store data of card punching, and finally implements identification of cardholders, financial consumption and other related applications by powerful statistical and analyzing ability of computer, thus improving financial management of schools, accelerating capital returning and decreasing handling cost, improving management benefit, realizing application integration and data sharing, promoting information construction and application level for campus.Firstly, the thesis makes a profound analysis in technology and products related to campus smart card system, describing foundations for its design and realization. Secondly, according to the actual situation of Luzhou Meddical Colledge, a series of requirements, including business demand of all departments for the system, application demand of cardholders, management demand of running attention and safety demand for the system are analyzed. Next, its overall designs of the network topology, the system composition, the read-write terminals of the campus smart card system, and an approach of end-to-end third party integration utility system are presented. Finally, the thesis describes and illustrates the design details of the campus smart card system and the model number of chosen campus smart card's chip, the design of storage directory, data and file structures, network structures and high performance data centre, its application subsystem and realized the integration of campus smart card system and currently existing management system in the library, and the campus smart card's security and response to emergence.
