Research And Achieve Institutional Repository Of Chinese Academy Of Agricultural Sciences Based On Dspace

With the continuous development of information technology,all of industries raised resources information boom, includes the digital library. As the resources foundation of researchers'work in every universities or scientific inistitution, library should follow the development of the Times and accelerate the process of information digitization and informatization. At the same time of resources digitization libraries spend a huge amount of money each year to buy commercial database in order to provide better information services for scientific research. The cost of these commercial databases is increasing year by year. In order to boycott monopoly of business publication, save research fund and provide more perfect information resource service for researchers, library service researchers propose an idea-open access and start an boom of constructing institution repository for realizing this idea.In the background above, this paper fully study the theory knowledge of Institutional Repository and analyze present development situation in and out of china.On basis of detailed analyze of the research products organization and save situation in the Chinese academy of agricultural sciences, puts forward the construction target and the function/technical requirements of Chinese academy of agricultural sciences Institutional Repository. I also learn development technology, standard and agreement, analyze and research release background, functional features, advantages and disadvantages of DSpace needed in this project based on the requirements analysis.On the basis of above work, this paper designs the system structure in detial and functional modules of the Chinese academy of agricultural sciences Institutional Repository. System structure includes three layers-application layer, business logic layer and storage layer.Function modules includes three modules too-resource collection and submit module, archive and management module, as well as distribute and service module. This paper revises and expands DSpace prototype system to realize above function designed. The main development work in this project contains interface localization and modification according to the domestic users'habits, Chinese support for retrieval module, change content submitted way and display mode, add resource uploads and downloads rank, add the latest upload resources display, retrieval results extend based on agricultural thesaurus and webservice and add Isomerous Database searching based on Multi-Protocol.This paper wants to keep scientific research output of each institutes researchers for a long time, strengthens academic exchanges between internal and external, improve our inistitutes researchers'academic visibility and accelerate the process of academic research by constructing the Chinese academy of agricultural sciences institutional repository.
