Embedded system is a special computer system that based both on the hardware design centralized on application, and on the software development that is aiming at application. This system is widely applied in industries such as process control, communication, instrument, consumptions and so on. Embedded system is a sort of system that has the specific function for special computer system. The combination of the embedded system and communication technology will enormously strengthen the intelligence and flexibility of the network, greatly enhance the communication functions, and realize the interconnection among various kinds of communication systems. With the unceasing development of information technology and the booming of user demands, Embedded system technology has been much more widely applied in the communication area day after day. This paper's aim is to design a kind of communication subsystem to apply in "embedded software component paltform", the system can support the interfaces such as RS232, RS485, CAN, SPI. Using the OPC server, as long as following the OPC data connection protocol, we can get data from the OPC server provided by different hardware merchants, which can realize flexible data allocation and multi-system integration. Then we can realize information sharing among the intelligent equipments, and between the intelligent equipment and control system software.Focused on the environment of the industry field intelligent equipment's embedded software component platform, this paper designs communication subsystem based on embedded microprocessor (DSP chip) TMS320F2812 and the filter module. The designing of communication subsystem mainly includes the commucation between the eCAN module and the intelligent instrument SHCAN2000, between the SCI module and PC (or the OPC server), between the SPI module and the chip of AT25128. Thispaper also introduces the function realization by the way of concrete steps of the module initialization, transmission, reception, and programs software to test this subsystem function. It also introduces the method of IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filter to implement the design of Butterworth filter and the Chebychev I filter.The updated embedded system MMB2004 has been debugged and will be used in the new project. By the test ,it is proved that is feasible, reliable and universal. This is the profitable attempt to develop the software component in the embedded high real time operation system.
