This essay predicate three characters about the bestseller publishedin the nineties of twentieth century in China. First, the author examined the specialization in writers of novels. InChina, traditionally one who write a novel only was regarded as pursuingone's ideals, but in the nineties people who appear to make money bywriting a bestseller was distributed from the team of novelists. Then, the author explored into the new relationship among mediumand publisher. In the nineties, mediums means mass communication,such as newspapers, magazines, radio, or television, which were acted asthe most useful instruments for advertising bestseller by publishers.People believed the bestseller through mediums changed the culture lifeof modern society. Finally, the author analyze to the new occupation in publishingindustry. In nineties, some editors were encouraged to search manuscriptsand writers for producing into a bestseller.
