During the 1990s, with the establishment of the market economic system, China's best-selling industry has achieved great development. Since the 21st century, China's best-selling book industry in the production mechanism and mode of operation has a considerable size, forming a more stable type of best-selling book and the production mechanism. China's publishing industry has entered the era of best-selling book. In the 21st century, the category of best-selling book, Lifestyle is a popular bestseller type of academic and industry attention. This paper uses theories and methods as publishing, editing principle, communication theory, and science of culture to make a comparatively deep and systematic study of the development track, historical feature and present situation of the lifestyle bestsellers. Its goal is to understand and appraise the lifestyle bestsellers of 21st century in China more concretely, objectively, overall and scientifically. Meanwhile, through to the 21st century lifestyle bestseller varieties, subject matter and the mechanism of empirical research and systematic analysis, tries to clarify lifestyle bestseller in publishing communication process of some theoretical and practical error, the future of scientific development for bestseller provide opinions and reference.
