Rationalization was an important proposition that Weber had been paying close attention in his study of sociology. Weber thesis gets a lot of attention because of its probing into the relationship between Protestant ethics and capitalist development. But they always got a unilateral view when they studied this question before. They overemphasized the factor of the religion and ignored the others. In the fact, the development of capitalism is a result of synthetical effects and a developing process. This process is worked by the factor of religion, but at same time it cannot work without the bureaucratic system. It is a process of rationalization and all the parts in it is controlled by the rationalization. In this paper, we investigate the process of rationalization in the Weber thesis and the bureaucratic system after we get the relation between them. As we know the Protestant ethics is a cultural support in the modern rational society and as we know the bureaucratic system is a concentrated representation in the modern rational society, we can deduce that the modern society comes from the process of rationalization which is composed from the Protestant ethics to the spirit of capitalism and the bureaucratic system. The article tries to analyze the value of the theory in order of search for inspire of constructing the "spirit of socialism" and the significance of using for reference in construction of the Harmonious Society.
